What is Employee Engagement?

Employee engagement is a hot topic right now; more and more business leaders are realizing the benefit and significance of happy, engaged workplace culture. Employees who feel a sense of belonging to their company work harder, remain longer and inspire others to do the same.

Employee engagement has an effect on almost every aspect of your company, including profitability, sales, customer service, employee turnover, and more.

Employee engagement is described as having a clear understanding of how an organization is achieving its mission and goals, how it is evolving to better serve those objectives, and being given a voice in the journey to provide ideas and express opinions that are considered as decisions are made.

Engaged organizations provide ample proof of trust and fairness based on shared respect, where two-way promises and obligations – between employers and employees – are understood and met.
